Jacob Sousley is a Chicago-based director and stage manager dedicated to collaborative storytelling. They serve as the Artistic Director of The Interpolated Theatre Company, building on early work with the Knoxville Children’s Theatre and directing training at Columbia College Chicago. They are committed to creating consent-based and trauma-informed rehearsal spaces that break down the hierarchy of traditional theatrical structures and enable actors and collaborators to take risk. Recent directing credits include Assimilate (Interpolated Theatre Company), Dark Play or Stories for Boys, and The Giver (Columbia College Chicago).
